In 1986 I started guiding on the Cheat. I spent the next 20+ years on the rivers in the mid eastern states. Even got the chance to teach a few people how to kayak. In 2001 I came to Ohiopyle to learn how to make paddles with Keith Backlund. I worked with Keith for more than 2 years and have set my own shop up. I do a lot of repairs so Keith can work on the new paddles. I can help in keeping your paddle on the river.
